SATIS T20 2019 Competition

Great competition, skill and team camaraderie was witnessed at the 2019 SATIS T20 cricket matches held in Launceston on the 9th and 10th December.  With an exciting boost in team entries from across the state including Marist Regional College and St Brendan’s Shaw College from the North West, and St Virgil’s College and Guilford young College from the South, the regular participants from Scotch Oakburn, St Patrick’s College, Grammar and Hutchins knew they would in for some exciting new opposition.  As a result of the increased number of teams the competitions was divided into two pools, with the final being played between the top teams in each pool.  Results were so close in each pool (3 teams ending on the same number of points in both pools) that the finalists had to be determined by percentage.  New comers St Virgil’s College and Guilford Young College played off for number one spot with the young talented St Virgil’s team coming out on top (pictured below).  Details of all the matches can be found on the mycricket.com.au website
