Today’s SATIS Swimming Carnival was a huge success thanks to the huge effort from everyone involved. A big thank you must be extended to Swimming Tasmania, the Hobart Aquatic Centre, the SATIS organizers and co-ordinators from the helper schools, and of course the staff and students of all the participating schools.

Well done to all who participated and congratulations to those who did well in their races.
Two SATIS records were broken today:

Event 2 – Girls Under 14 – 4x50m Medley Relay – Fahan School – 2:19.65
Previous record – 2:19.95 set by Launceston Church Grammar in 2006.

Event 49 – Boys Under 13 – 4x50m Freestyle Relay – St Patrick’s College – 2:01.12
Previous record – 2:02.29 set by St Virgil’s in 2013.
